Contax IIa Color Dial Film Camera with Contax 50mm f1.5 lens. The camera is serial number A46358 and is probably from early 1954 which makes it one of the early units of the Color Dial variant. The lens is 1445934 and also dates to 1954 which makes it a periodically correct match to the camera. Condition: - Excellent cosmetic and functional condition. - Tested with film. I have used for this camera for a few years and shot many rolls of film, mostly color, with it. 2 sample photos that I shot in Narita in April 2026 are provided.- The viewfinder is clear and the rangefinder patch is distinctly visible.- Shutter speeds are accurate and the self timer works fine.- The shutter curtain is clean.- Despite its age, the lens is clean to the naked eye and I don't see any signs of fungus.- There is a scratch on the hotshoe where the serial number is.
